Write for us

Vibrant News Journal welcomes pitches that make a familiar idea clearer, stranger or more interesting through careful explanation. Contributions should give general readers context without requiring specialist knowledge or turning a complex subject into a simplistic answer.

What makes a strong pitch

Send a focused proposal built around one question or idea. Explain what readers will understand by the end, why the subject rewards a closer look and what context the piece needs. A distinct angle is more useful than a broad theme, and a clear account of uncertainty is better than a claim of certainty the subject cannot support.

Writing for our readers

We look for accurate, original work in calm, precise language. Define unfamiliar terms, separate evidence from interpretation and avoid padding a piece with repeated points. Pitches should be suitable for a general audience and should not present professional medical, legal or investment advice.

How to propose a piece

Send your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short description of the central idea and a brief note about your approach. Do not send confidential material or assume a pitch has been accepted before we respond.
